All I can say about this fragrance is YUM. It's minty, fresh and so delicious! It's only available at Barney's, so it's not cheap, but worth the investment if you're a perfume junkie like me. Frederic Malle is a genius.
After my acupuncturist told me to eat lots of red foods, I was wandering around Whole Foods grabbing everything red I could find. I found this juice and it is SO good. Not too sweet, and definitely refreshing. I've heard good things about Goji and Acai...lots of antioxidants...a good thing.

We stumbled across the Miike Snow show at Lollapalooza last summer and it was instant love. They sound so different than anything on the radio right now. It's pop-ish, but there's something more. And I like it. Silvia and Animal are two of my favorites. They're coming to town in April and will be sure to pick up tix. Can't wait!

Uh, did you think I forgot it's the Australian Open?? Not a chance...I've been staying up way too late and getting up way too early to watch the matches. I must say, Rafa looks GOOD (from a tennis perspective, of course!) and I think he'll go all the way. Love him.
Sorry for the random post, but hopefully you enjoy a little break from IF stuff as much as I do. Have a great weekend!

I'm so glad to "meet" another mucisian! It seems that no one I know IRL kept playing after high school. I may not be a tennis buff, but I have to agree with you about Rafa. He does look good. But I'm not talking from a tennis prospective!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check out Mike Snow.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing other's obsessions, because it makes me aware of more things that can become my obsessions.
Love the random post! I wish you could smell perfume over the internet, I'm a total perfume junkie! Have a good rest of the weekend!
ReplyDeleteI saw Egg's post too and yours and hers are so cute. I'll totally have to steal this one day. Hope your weekend is going well!

I love "Animal" by Miike Snow, too! It was actually DH and my "welcome in the new year" song - we were listening to it at midnight as we popped the cork on the champagne!
ReplyDeleteLove the "random" post. It's good to "change the subject" every once in a while!
Happy ICLW! Good luck with your ttc plans, whatever you decide to do! I sure hope it's successful quickly for you! Love your random post, now I have to go listen to Miike Snow!
ReplyDeleteI need to write about some non IF sutff every once in a while too - i think I'll do one sometime soon my redecorating and the paintings i'm going to do for the living room.
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous you have a whole foods to go to - dang suburbs.
Hope you had a great weekend

Red foods huh, I may have to take a little trip to whole foods myself and pick up that juice!! Super curious about the perfume too, I've totally been wanting to get something new. I just may have to steal this post idea as well!
ReplyDeleteOops, that was my post above..was signed into the wrong account!
ReplyDeleteI wish there were a way to smell things over the internet!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see that I am not the only person with obsessions who isn't afraid to let others know what they are! Sometimes mine are a bit much and I am afraid of what people will think. But then again, they are mine and just an expression of me! LOL
ReplyDeleteShannon - January ICLW
I really need to do a post like this. I love it! I will have to check out Mike Snow. And that's really interesting about the red foods. I'll have to try that juice.
ReplyDeleteLoooove Miike Snow! (Did you know that the two dudes behind this outfit were already famous for writing songs for Britney and Madonna? That seemed so weird to me since they are an indie outfit.) Yep, awesome album. "Animal" is what made me download it, and I always find myself pushing repeat for "Faker."
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to read about non-TTC stuff! :)
I just wanted to let you know that I am from a suburb of Chicago and have a great doctor out here that I can refer you. If needed please email me at jessica.hogan28@gmail.com. In the meantime you are in my thoughts and prayers!

Random posts are a good thing from time to time. I think we get so used to reading about everyone's reproductive woes that we sometimes forget that they are real people, with real lives. Thank you for reminding me of that!
